CARE INSTRUCTION

To ensure the continuing performance and everlasting appearance of your Christian Bernard products, here are some recommendations:

 

Timepiece Care

  1. Keep watches away from water and source that has strong magnetic fields; careful not to drop or knock watches against hard surface.
  2. Watch straps should avoid contacts with all types of solvent, such as cosmetics, perfume and detergents as these may damage straps, seals or case/bracelet. Straps may require replacement when soiled and damaged from sweats.
  3. Keep watches away from water and source that has strong magnetic fields; careful not to drop or knock watches against hard surface.
  4. Watch straps should avoid contacts with all types of solvent, such as cosmetics, perfume and detergents as these may damage straps, seals or case/bracelet. Straps may require replacement when soiled and damaged from sweats.
  5. It is strongly advised to store all watches separately, to prevent scratches and abrasions to the surface.
  6. For Automatic and manual-wind watches, it is recommended that you wind it once per month, to prevent the deterioration of internal components.
  7. Careful not to apply too much force when adjusting time/date. Avoid setting the time/date between period of 9pm to 3am, as the operation of Day-Date mechanism can be disturbed.
  8. To ensure that it maintains its full precision and reliability, we advise you to arrange for the movement of the watch to be lubricated by an approved Christian Bernard service agent.
  9. Keep your watch clean with a soft damped cloth, and replace silicon-seal accordingly to keep watch water-resistant.
  10. Servicing and maintenance of Your Christian Bernard watches should be carried out by authorized Service Agent, according to period specified by the Instruction, to ensure the precision and the serving period of the watch.

Leather Care

  1. Prevent prolonged exposure of leather item to light, heat and humidity, and all kinds of chemical substances, make-up products and solvents.In case the Article is damped by water or moisture, gently dry with soft, dry cloth without cleaning detergents. Direct exposure under sunlight may cause the Article to loose its original shape.
  2. Recommend to avoid places with high humidity or salinity, to prevent metallic parts on the leather goods from tarnishing.
  3. It is advised to keep leather goods inside the provided dust bag and store separately, so the Article does not loose its original shape.
  4. Only use Recommended leather conditioner to clean the leather goods in order to retain natural coloring and shine. Please contact the Christian Bernard After-sales service team for any product related inquiries.
